PHOTOSHOOT 7

Carrying on with the theme of using water I decided to freeze water in balloons. I plut the water into the balloon, I then added black ink into one balloon and ready mixed blue paint into another.Once thety were frozen I took of the balloon and was left with balls of ice. The ballon which had the paint in was lighter blue at the top of the ball and got darker as you got down, this was due to the paint being denser than the water. The balloon with the added ink fully turned black

When i took this photoshoot I used a harsh lighting which lead to the ice melting, i was able to catch the water dripping down the exteior. I later added salt onto the ice, this sped up the melting process and the salt also crystialised on the surface. This made the balls look like baubles, as the crystalised salt glimmered when the lighting shun on it.

This first photo is a fine example of the bauble like sculpture. In tbis photo you can clearly see the water dripping down the side of the ice. This photo was taken before I added the salt but still the water glistens in the light. Before i edited this photo the water droplets were not as clear as they are in this photo. I changed the hue and saturation of this photo which made the colours duller, this made the water droplets more clear. I then changed the exposure which then showed the clear path of the water falling down the ice.

In this image it shows all three of the ice balls I hade made. Again in this photo you are able to see the path of the water that has dripped down the surface. Unlike the last photo i have used ice and you are able to see it crystalised on the ice. The front to balls of ice of this photo is in focus where as the one in the back is out of focus. Before this photo was editied like the first you were not able to see the path of the water dripping down the ice. when I changed the hue/ saturation of the photo to bring down the brightness of the colours in the photo you were able to see the path of the water.
